Maurice H Bonne

      Maurice Bonne, 93, passed away on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at The Waters of Wakarusa.

      Maurice was born on August 3, 1932, in Mishawaka, IN to Raymond Arthur and Martha (Chriastreans) Bonne.  He was preceded in death by his parents; daughters, Michelle Kittrell and Maureen Bonne; three grandchildren: Jordan Bonne, Christopher Bradley and Jacob Bradley and a sister, Eleonore DeLoof and his brothers, Raymond, Charles and Henry Bonne.
       On August 29, 1959, he married Johanna Turner at St. Pius X Catholic Church in Granger. She preceded him in death on November 13, 2017, after 58 years of marriage. Surviving are sons, Matthew (Shirley), Mike (John), and Ray (Tina) Bonne; 10 grandchildren, Aaron (Lauren), Brooke (Brockman), Trey (Madi), Drew, Tonya (Edwin), Trish (Mikel), Tim (Deana), Ryan (Jenny), Evan and Joshua; 15 great grandchildren.  
       During his career, Maurice worked as a Mill Rite and Maintenance Trainer for Wheelabrator for 30 years then worked at General Dynamics for five years before retiring. He was a Veteran of the United States Navy. Maurice was a devout catholic, he loved to play golf, gardening and sitting by the pool. He loved music and loved to sing; he was a member of the Choir at St. Paul’s Retirement Community in South Bend.
        A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, at 11 AM with visitation one hour prior, at St. Jude Catholic Church at 19704 Johnson Road in South Bend. A private burial will take place.
