Melissa Hopkins

     Melissa C. Hopkins, aged 54, passed away peacefully on February 18, 2025, in Mishawaka, Indiana, after a life well-lived. Born on April 18, 1970, in Muncie, Indiana, Melissa was the cherished daughter of Charles L. Hoffman and Carol (JoJo) Hoffman.

     Melissa worked as a data analysis technician where she was known for her sharp problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and unwavering commitment to ensuring safety and security for countless clients. She was a mother full of love and pride for her son Ryan Hoffman, his wife Kim, her daughter Kailey Day her partner Eric Miller Jr., and her adored grandchildren Kaliana, Eric III , Milani, and Hayden. Her brother Chad Hoffman, alongside many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins, will miss her deeply.

     Known for her exceptional talent in the kitchen, Melissa's cheesecakes were the centerpiece of many family gatherings. Her passion for cooking and baking brought joy to all who knew her. Melissa's warmth, generosity, and the sweet aroma of her baking will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.

     A Celebration of life will be held on April 19, 2025, from 4:00 PM – 10:15 PM, in Castle Manor, 801 Indiana Ave. Mishawaka.
