Michael Coty

   Michael Lee Richard Coty, age 71, born August 1st 1954, passed away January 28th 2026.

   He was a veteran of the Vietnam War, A devoted Notre Dame fan who remembers father hessburg at his childhood home over for brandy on Sundays.

   Michael was preceded in death by his parents, Richard Lee Coty and Helen Lucille Pointer Coty.

   He is also survived by his children, his son Nicolas David Coty (Brittnie Sowards); and his daughter, Jessica Coty; biggie smalls (grand dog) siblings: brother Joel Coty and his wife Sue; sister Janice (Coty) Prikosovich and her husband Mike; (sister) Sherri Lynn; her husband Doug McKenzie. Bonus children Katie Beveridge (4 children) Victoria Carlson (Monique Carlson) Robert Milner (Nino) and many more

   Michael will be remembered for his passion, stubbornness, his humor, being a dedicated, devoted, father, brother, uncle , friend and (pops) to many with the welcoming love and wisdom he gave so freely to his family and friends. As a 29 year surviving heart patient, Michael found peace on the water fishing always enjoyed the buzz of a good joint and the excitement of the casino. Above all, his greatest love was his children, his daughter, Jessica Rose Coty, and his son, Nicolas David Coty.

   A visitation will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th Street.  Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM in the funeral home. A burial is set to take place at St. Joseph Valley Memorial Park, at a later date.
