Michael Alan Wojtysiak

Michael Wojtysiak, 60 (15), passed away on July 11, 2024. Michael was born to John and Lorraine Wojtysiak on February 29, 1964, in Mishawaka, Indiana.  Michael graduated from Penn High School in 1984 and St. Joseph Rensselaer College in 1988.  Michael and Carmen Ukele raised three sons who are dedicated to following his footsteps: Colin, Nathan, and Adam Wojtysiak. He was a caring Papa to his 12 grandchildren, who will miss their weekly family dinners and rides in Papa’s Jeep.

Michael started his first business, an accounting firm, in 1992 and continued to build a robust and successful enterprise.  Michael worked diligently to improve the Mishawaka community, through his work on the Mishawaka School Board as well as his determination to hold leadership accountable. 

He then married the love of his life, Cindy Stratton on July 29, 2016, in South Bend, Indiana. Michael and Cindy lived life fiercely and passionately; dancing, traveling, and enjoying their time together.

Michael will be lovingly remembered by his wife Cindy, his sons; Colin (Christina) Wojtysiak, Nathan (Lindsey) Wojtysiak, and Adam (Erin) Wojtysiak, as well as his 12 grandchildren; Ava, Rose, Easton, Eli, Camden, Connor, Chase, Colson, Miles, Brooklyn, Mason, and James. He is also survived by his siblings; Lin (Mack) McCuistion, Kathleen Leuthold, Ann (Kenneth) Brill, Cindy Misiano, Susan Moran, Mary (Bob) Bagley, Robert Wojtysiak, and John (Barbara) Wojtysiak.

            Visitation will be held on Friday, July 19, 2024, from 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM in Hahn Funeral home, 505 W 8th St. Mishawaka. A Celebration of life will be held at a later date.
