Michael Young

Michael Young, 76, of Mishawaka passed away on Friday, February 3, 2023.  Michael was born in Mishawaka, IN on July 18, 1946, to Kary and Annie (Artusi) Young.  On November 29, 1975, he married the former Carol DeLee who survives.  Also surviving are his son, Michael (Stephanie) Young and grandchildren, Kaelin, Kade, Kyra and Kenna Young.  He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Kary M. Young; and brother, Ronald Young.

Michael was a 1964 graduate of Mishawaka High School.  After high school he enlisted in the United States Navy and served from 1964-1967.  He was stationed on the USS George K. Mackenzie during the Vietnam War.

Services will be held on Thursday, February 9, 2023 at 9:45 am in the mausoleum chapel in Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka, IN.  Military Honors will be conducted by the VFW 360 and American Legion 161 burial squad.
