Nelson "Pete" L. Davis

Nelson “Pete” L. Davis, 81, of Mishawaka, passed away on December 25, 2020. He was born in North Liberty on April 8, 1939, to the late Vernon and Viola (Strieby) Davis. Pete married his wife of 60 years, Jan (Byrd) Davis on October 29, 1960.
Pete is survived by his loving wife, Jan Davis; son, Kirk Davis; seven grandchildren; twenty great-grandchildren and sisters, Ruby and Linda. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Cindy, and his siblings, Rowena, Evelyn, Bessie, Shelby, Bob, Leroy, Norman, and Vernon Jr.
Pete worked for Wheelabrator as an assembler, manufacturing RV windows and delivering medications. He was an avid bowler as well as a fan of professional wrestling. Pete enjoyed camping and spending time with his family.
Visitation for Pete will be held on Thursday, December 31, 2020, from 3-6 PM at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with the service to immediately follow.
