Patricia Skodinski

     Patricia Skodinski, beloved wife of Robert Skodinski, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her children: Mary Wilham Countway, Pattie Stamm, and Richard Skodinski. She was joyfully welcomed into heaven by her husband, Bob, and her son, Robert.

     Pat lived a rich and fulfilling life, cherished by her husband, four children, five grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She delighted in playing cards with her daughter Mary and a close circle of family and friends. Her creative passions included embroidering, coloring pictures, and browsing her tablet (often while enjoying Mahjong). One of her favorite pastimes was strolling through the neighborhood.

     Born in Springfield, Illinois, to Beryl and William McManus, Pat was the youngest of six siblings, three sisters and three brothers. At age three, her family relocated to South Bend, Indiana. In October 1958, she married the love of her life, Bob; last Saturday would have marked their 68th wedding anniversary.

     A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, from 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. The funeral service will be on Thursday, October 30, 2025, at 10:30 AM, in the Queen of Peace Catholic Church, 4508 Vistula Rd, Mishawaka, with visitation one hour prior.

     In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Queen of Peace Catholic Church.
