Patricia Kay Warren

            Patricia Kay Warren, a cherished pillar of her community and a beacon of warmth to all who knew her, passed away peacefully on June 28, 2024, at the age of 85. Born on June 7, 1939, in LaPorte, Indiana, to Hubert and Hilda (Lidke) Evory, Patricia's vibrant spirit and nurturing nature were evident from an early age.

            Settling in South Bend, Indiana, Patricia's life was marked by her dedication to her family, her passion for service, and her unwavering kindness. She lovingly raised four children—Shari (Rick) Spitaels, Kathi (Pete) Sinclair, Debbie (Brian) Carlson, and Jeff (Tara) Warren—who stood at the center of her world. Her legacy continues to bloom through her nine grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren, each of whom she adored with all her heart.

            For over 30 years, Patricia served as a food service manager at Kroger, where her warm smile and caring demeanor turned colleagues into lifelong friends and made customers feel like family. Patricia was a devoted member of Sunnyside Presbyterian Church and a beloved volunteer at Reins of Life. Known for her angelic voice and unwavering dedication, Patricia found immense joy in singing with the church choir, where her passion for music uplifted the congregation for many years. Her compassionate spirit shone brightly through her volunteer work at Reins of Life, where she touched the lives of countless individuals with her kindness and gentle demeanor.

            As we bid farewell to Patricia Kay Warren, we are comforted by the cherished memories she leaves behind memories that will continue to inspire and guide us. The world is a better place for having had her in it, and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she loved so dearly.

            Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2024, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th St, Mishawaka. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2024, at 11:00 am with visitation one hour prior, in Sunnyside Presbyterian Church, 115 S. Frances St, South Bend.

            In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations in memory of Patricia to be made to Reins of Life, 55200 Quince Rd, South Bend, or to the Potawatomi Zoo, 500 S Greenlawn Ave, South Bend.
