Paul T. Erp Jr.

MISHAWAKA - Paul Thomas Erp Jr., 55, passed away on Friday, August 27, 2021, in Memorial Hospital, South Bend surrounded by his family.

Paul was born on August 16, 1966, in South Bend as the son of Paul Thomas and Marcia (Ciesiolka) Erp.

He grew up in the South Bend area and was a graduate of John Adams High School in South Bend.

After graduating he attended Indiana University South Bend. For many years Paul was an insurance agent for Allstate Insurance Company.  Paul was a man of many traits, he also worked as a private investigator.  One of his biggest joys was being Game Day Manager at the University of Notre Dame football and basketball games. His love of Notre Dame gave him great pride in serving the university. Paul was also an avid Chicago Cub’s fan. He loved all sports.

Paul is survived by his parents, Paul Thomas and Marcia Mae Erp of South Bend; his daughter, Brittney (Nicole Lawson) of Mishawaka; his uncles, George (Phyllis) Erp and Jim (Linda) Erp; his aunts, Nancy (Don) Kline, Rosie (Warren) Braunsdorf and Rose Marie Grams; along with many cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 3rd from 5:00 – 7:00 pm in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street Mishawaka, with a Memorial Service at 7:00 pm.  Private burial will take place at a later date.

**Celebration of Life will be held at 10:15 am on Saturday, September 4th at Little Flower Catholic Church, 54191 Ironwood Road South Bend, IN 46635**

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorial contributions be made to the family to help offset expenses.
