Randy Lee Riggs

South Bend, IN-Randy Lee Riggs, 63, passed away on Thursday, July 1, 2021, in his home.  Randy was born in South Bend on April 16, 1958, to the late Phillip and Amelia (Winrott) Riggs.  On September 17, 2004 he married the former Kimberly Winger who survives along with his “Big Dog” Ranger.  Also surviving are his children, Michael (Ann) Riggs, Ashley Riggs, Nathan (Kaley) Riggs and Shelby (Nelson) Danch; grandchildren, Pierce Riggs, Braxton Riggs, Harley Danch, Isabelle Danch and Luna Danch; siblings, Jerry “Dud” Riggs, Gregory “Buck” (Tammy) Riggs, Peggy Sherman, Barb Riggs, John (Pattie) Riggs, Rick Riggs, Phyllis Murdick and Sally Riggs.  Randy is preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Susie Matamores.

Randy worked as an operator at IN/TEK for over 30 years until his retirement.  He loved to golf and looked forward to his annual golfing trip in Michigan.  When he wasn’t on the golf course you could find him in his woodshop where he loved making presents, projects and custom furniture.  He also enjoyed making gifts for others.  Randy was an avid Notre Dame Football fan.  He would never miss a game. 

Family will receive friends 3-6 pm on Tuesday, July 6^th at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka.  Services will immediately follow at 6 pm with James Williams officiating.
