Richard “Dick” A. Krieg, 83, passed away on Tuesday, October 12, 2021. He was born in Glenbeulah, Wisconsin on August 31, 1938, to the late William and Jean (Lamb) Krieg. On January 23, 1960, in South Bend, he married the former Mary Ann Ganser. Surviving Richard are his wife, Mary Ann; his children, Diane Sullivan, Kevin (Judy) Krieg and Steven Krieg; grandchildren, Trevor, Mackenzie and Will Krieg and Jude Comeau; sister, Kathy (Richard) Casey; and brothers, William (Betty) Krieg and Michael (Julie) Krieg.
Dick proudly served in the US Navy during the Korean War and was a proud member of the American Legion 161 Mishawaka. He was a Union electrician for IBEW 153, South Bend for over 61 years. He volunteered for many years at St Joseph Regional Medical Center and was also a volunteer trainer at Penn High School.

Visitation will be 10 am-12 pm on Monday, October 18, 2021, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka. Funeral service will begin at 12 pm with Father Terry Fisher officiating and military rites by American Legion 161 and VFW 360 burial team. Dick will be laid to rest in Southlawn Cemetery.
