            Roberta J. Holmes, 74, passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2024, in Mishawaka.

            Roberta was born on April 22, 1950, in Mishawaka as the daughter of Leo Carlile and Marjorie (Jenkins) Smith. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sons, Travis Rinke and Calvin Rinke; a grandsons, Thomas Thompson and Anthony Harter and a brother, George Carlile.

            Surviving are her daughter, Teresa (Ray) Swank; son, Robert (Debbie) Rinke; grandchildren, Brian Weber Jr., Andrew Ellis and Susan Hunt; greatgrandchildren, James Thompson, Nevaeh Ellis and Emma Ellis; sisters, Kay Troyer, Junita (Clark) Shear and Mary Campbell and a brother, Lee (Carol Coleman) Foster.

            Roberta worked as a cook in the food service industry for many years.

            As per Roberta’s wishes, there will be no formal services. Hahn Funeral Home, Mishawaka has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
