Robin Zachary

    Robin Jannings Zachary, 72, of Mishawaka, passed away on Saturday, April 18, 2026, at Raclin House Center for Hospice in Mishawaka, with her daughter, Betsy, and extended family by her bedside.

    Robin was born on June 21, 1953, in Jonesboro, Arkansas, to the late Robert Jannings and Betty Lancaster Schnabel. She was a 1972 graduate of Mishawaka High School. Her spouse, Gerald Zachary, preceded her in death on October 25, 2023.

    Robin is survived by her daughter, Betsy Webster (Mark) Downs of Georgetown, Indiana; her granddaughters, Becca and Chelsea Downs; her brother, Stan Jannings of Delray Beach, Florida; and her sisters, Karen Donohue of Naples, Florida, and Michele Donohue Daspin of Austin, Texas.

    In accordance with Robin’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and artwork and jewelry incorporating her ashes have been created as gifts for the family.

    No funeral services are scheduled at this time. Hahn Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements and extends their deepest sympathies to Robin's family.
