Romaine M (Frick) Davis

Romaine Marie Frick Davis, 88, of Altamonte Springs, FL, passed away at her home on Sunday, September 5, 2021.  She was born March 8, 1933, in Wyatt, Indiana to Howard “Dick” and Ione Frick.

She is survived by her son, Reed Davis (LuAnn) of Altamonte Springs, FL; grandchildren, Heath Davis and Celena Davis Balewski (Tom); and great grandson, Mason Davis Balewski.

Romaine is preceded in death by her husband, Bartley Davis; father, Howard “Dick” Frick; mother, Ione Frick; and brother, John “Bill” Frick.

Romaine graduated from Madison Township High School in 1951 and attended Purdue University.   She married Bartley Davis on January 8, 1955, and they created their life together in Florida.

Romaine was an avid book reader and loved to play bridge and sew!

Visitation will be 10:00-10:30 am, Friday, September 17, 2021, at Hahn Funeral Home, 505 West 8th Street, Mishawaka, IN 46544.  The funeral services will begin at 10:30 am and burial will follow St. John Cemetery Woodland, 63900 IN-31, Woodland, IN, where Romaine will be interred next to her parents.

A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held following the internment, at the Wyatt Fire Station Meeting Hall, 66341 SR-331, Wyatt, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Hospice of the Comforter, 480 West Central Pkwy, Altamonte Springs, FL 32714.
