Ronald Eldon Lehman, age 77, of Mishawaka, IN, passed away October 21, 2024, while battling Myelodysplastic Syndrome (MDS)
Ron was born June 11, 1947, in Elkhart, Indiana to the late Vernon and Marci (Johnson) Lehman. He was the oldest of four children, preceded by the passing of his younger brother, Steve Lehman. Ron married the late Lois Lehman (Buraczewski). Ron worked at Allied Signal (Honeywell) in South Bend for 13 years, Rohr Incorporated in Riverside and Moreno Valley, CA for 5 years, Robert Bosch LLC in St Joseph, MI for 11 years all while specializing as Quality Control / Quality Assurance Analyst in the automotive, aerospace and plastic injection molding spaces.
Ron loved to follow the Chicago Bears, Chicago Cubs, Notre Dame athletics and Arizona Wildcats athletics. He loved sunny beaches, summer sun, the ocean, The Beach Boys and Bruce Springsteen.
Being born and raised in Elkhart, IN, Ron grew up on Huron near Ren St. Attended Roosevelt school and was the first-class attending Pierre Moran Middle School and later graduating Elkhart High School in 1966. Ron leaves to cherish his loving memory, his two sisters, Geri Lehman (Frank Tromp), Tucson, AZ and Terri Brown (Russel Brown), Fort Worth, TX. Children Mike Lehman, Mishawaka, and Jean (Kris) Scheid, Cassopolis, MI, Stepchildren Steve (Val) Strong, San Clemente, CA, Bob (Emma) Strong, Herndon, VA, Sue (Jim) Cocquyt, Mishawaka, Kathy Brothers, Mishawaka; 2 grandchildren, Lennon Scheid and Lily Scheid, Nephews Travis (Jennifer) Brown, Fort Worth, Tx and Ryan (Julia) Brown, Fort Worth, TX.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 30, 2024, from 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th street, Mishawaka, with a Service to follow at 6:00 in the Funeral Home.
