Rosetta Rose

Rosetta Rose, age 85, passed away peacefully on February 12, 2026. Rosetta was born on August 24, 1940, to Raymond DeMeyer and Mary (Kedik) DeMeyer.

She is survived by her grandchild, David Hufkens, and one cherished great-grandson David Anthony Hufkens. Rosetta is survived by her brother, Robert (Betty Sue) DeMeyer.

Rosetta was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved children, David Rose, Christina Rose, and James Rose; her grandson, Justin Hufkens; her brother, Raymond DeMeyer; and her sister, Rosella Bentley.

Rosetta was a longtime member of First United Methodist Church in Mishawaka, where her faith and sense of community were an important part of her life. She will be remembered for the deep love she had for her children and grandchildren, who were the center of her world. Rosetta’s greatest joy came from her family and the many memories she created with those who knew and loved her.

A visitation for Rosetta will take place on Tuesday, February 17, 2026, from 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th Street, Mishawaka. A funeral service will follow immediately at 12:00 PM, in the funeral home.
