Sarah Genevieve Ross

With heavy hearts we announce that Sarah Genevieve Ross, aged 51, passed away unexpectedly at her home on September 13, 2024. 

Sarah was born on September 11, 1973, in Saratoga Springs, New York to Mary Patricia (Coakley) and Vincent Frank Ross.  She had only recently moved to South Bend, Indiana having previously residing in Port Richey, Florida. Sarah attended Pacific Grove High School (California) and Saratoga Springs High School (New York) and graduated in the Class of 1991.

Sarah was known to have a unique and very wry sense of humor. She had many friends and loved them fiercely with her whole heart. She was artistic, creative, and enjoyed cooking and music. She was a passionate animal lover and considered her pets to be family members.

Sarah is predeceased by her father Vincent F. Ross (March 14,2024) and survived by her partner Christopher Montague, mother Mary Patricia Ross, brothers; James Santarcangelo, Michael (Susan) Ross, and sister Suzanne (Terry) Jandreau, nieces; Brooke Farrington, Courtney Farrington, Colleen Ross and nephew Brent Farrington. 

The family requests that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Humane Society of Saint Joseph County.
