Sharon Ann Barbour

Sharon Barbour, 76, passed away Sunday morning, April 14, 2024. She was born April 24, 1947, to the late Lyle Wilkins and Henrietta Wilkins.

            Sharon was a woman who was as warm as the quilts she would make. One of her most defining qualities was her unwavering kindness and generosity. Her selflessness and caring nature touched the lives of countess individuals. Sharon was the epitome of a good neighbor, who was always ready to lend a hand. As an avid nature lover, she could often be found outdoors watching the wildlife. Throughout her life Sharon found immense joy in the company of her beloved dogs.

            Sharon was preceded in death by her parents, her sister May Kay Bradburn, brother Paul Wilkens, and her son Stanford Barbour III.

            Sharon will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Stanford Barbour, daughters, Sherry (Michael) Alwine, sons, David (Tammy) Barbour, sisters Joy Kelver, Rose Marie Meade, grandchildren, Michael Alwine, Kaitlyn Barbour, Kassie Ruprecht, Nathan Clements, Kimberly Smith, and her great-grandchildren, Isabella, Aiden, Orian, Ansen, and Abby.

            A visitation will be held from 9-11 AM, Saturday April 20, 2024, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, with a service to follow at 11 AM.
