Mishawaka, IN-Teen Donald Robertson, 88, passed away at home on July 10, 2021. Teen was born in Dallas, SD, on August 30, 1932, to the late Paul and Pearl (Feninga) Robertson. He is preceded in death by his twin brother, Doyle Robertson and a sister, Belva (Robertson) Hoffman. On June 28, 1953, in Gregory, SD, he married the former Joan Patterson who also preceded him in death. Surviving are his son, Scott Robertson; daughters, Diane (Robertson) Putnam, Echo (Robertson) Arnett, and Susanna Von Felton; grandchildren, Lindsay (Sean) Kelley, William (Tricia) Putnam III, Andrew Teen (Lane) Arnett, and Kelsey (Matthew) Odenbach; and great-grandchildren, Alice and Elon Kelley, Fallon Putnam, Theodore Teen and Barrett Arnett, and Cooper and Colt Odenbach.
Teen graduated from University of South Dakota in 1958 with a degree in engineering. He proudly served his country, first in the United States Army and then as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. It was while he was stationed in Germany that Teen and his wife, Joan, discovered their love of travel and their abilities to make friends wherever they went. Teen retired from Bendix/Honeywell after a long career as a test engineer. His hobby was playing bridge and he was a Platinum Life Master.
Funeral service will be held at 3 pm on Saturday, July 17th at Hahn Funeral Home in Mishawaka. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to service.
