Obituary
Terri Lee Whitaker, 68, of Mishawaka, passed away on Friday, April 14, 2023. Terri was born to the late James and Ann (Hansen) Cool on April 3, 1955, in South Bend, IN. Terri worked as a manager in the floral department of Kroger for many years prior to retirement.
Terri is survived by her son, Chad (Holly) Whitaker; grandchildren, David (Andrea) Whitaker, Kaylee (Joe) Whitaker, Brittney (Patrick) Haas, Presley Whitaker and Raegan Whitaker; great-grandchildren, Teagan, Triton, Ashton, Elianna, Paizlee, Cyrus, and Kyzen; siblings, Joann McCahill, Jay Cool and Brian Cool; as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and extended family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her son, Jeremy Whitaker; her sister, Cathy; and her parents.
Terri loved animals, especially her dogs, Maxwell and Meiko. She enjoyed cooking, tending to her plants and gardening. One of her favorite places to visit was the beach or the poolside where she could be out in the sunshine.
There are no formal services at this time, a Memorial Gathering will be held at a later date.
