Tinh Vu

   Tinh V. Vu, 79, of Mishawaka passed away on January 4, 2026. Tinh was born to the late Thanh V. Vu and Hieu Thi Hieu on January 7, 1946, in North Vietnam. Tinh later immigrated to the United States and married Nhu Kim Uong in St. Joseph Catholic Church in Indianapolis, IN, on June 19, 1994. Tinh and Nhu relocated to the Michiana area after they married and Tinh worked for many years as an environmental technician for St. Joseph Regional Medical Center in Mishawaka. He was a member of St. Bavo Catholic Church of Mishawaka since 1990.

   Tinh is survived by his wife, Nhu Vu; son, Michael Phuc An Vu; siblings, Vincent Duc Vu, Tuynh Vu, Tao Vu, La Vu, as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.

   Friends may visit with the family Saturday, January 10th, from 9 – 11am in St. John the Baptist Church, 3526 St Johns Way, South Bend, IN 46628. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 am on Saturday, January 10th, in the church. A cremation is set to take place after mass.
