Tracy Marie Batson

           Tracy Marie Batson (53), born on August 4,1970 in South Bend, Indiana, died at St. Joseph hospital on May 29, 2024. She was surrounded by her ex-husband, John Batson, while she was very ill. He supported her truly through this process keeping her daughter updated. Tracy wanted everyone to know she didn't want anyone to worry, or to see her so unwell. Her nickname was "Tough" for a reason. She was a fighter. 

            She is preceded in death by her father, Anthony J. Sorocco Jr., and her mother, Christine Shankle Amos. Her stepfather, Ken Amos, is still living who resides in South Bend, IN. She has one daughter who is living, Ila Christine Beckett (Fadden)(29) - who resides in Sioux Falls, South Dakota with her husband Adam Joseph Beckett (32). 

            Tracy loved all types of music, she loved to karaoke, and loved Notre Dame football. Tracy enjoyed to wear makeup, fashionable clothes from her generation, and loved rocking 80's hair. She was loved by those who truly knew her, and very much understood her. Tracy's memorial will be held at a later date.
