Walkerton-Twila S. Young, 72, passed away on Sunday, August 6, 2017 at Hamilton Grove in New Carlisle,
Twila was born on January 5, 1945 in Fairbury, IL to Harold and Phyllis (Dale) Swanson. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother and sister.
Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Tami Hale of Santa Claus, IN, Tina (Michael) Lauderback of North Liberty, IN and Amber (Michele Mitchem) Young of Sevierville, TN; grandchildren, Brandi (Jeff) Garmer, Ashley (Dustin) Bohnke, Devin (Autumn) Lauderback, Garret Hale and Trenton Hale; seven great grandchildren; a sister, Mary (Jim) Tanner of Rolling Prairie, IN and brother, Dwayne Swanson of Loda, IL.
Twila enjoyed quilting but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Visitation will be on Wednesday, August 9 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. with funeral services at 12 p.m., in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka, Cremation will follow.
