William A. Penn

     William Allan Penn, 67, Of Osceola, Indiana, passed away on March 7, 2025, surrounded by his beloved family. William was born to the late William III and Margaret (Soens) Penn on October 20, 1957, in Mishawaka, Indiana. William graduated from Mishawaka High school.

     William spent many years working in the RV industry and then moved on to working in heating and air. William retired from Legacy Heating and Air, Inc., in April of 2023.

     William is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, David Penn and James Penn, and a sister, Kris Penn.

     William Married Gina (Smith) Penn on July 7, 2017, in Pigeon Forge, Tennessee, who is surviving in Osceola, Indiana. Also surviving are his son Adam Penn of Elkhart, Indiana, a daughter, Lindsay (Brandon) Penn of Mishawaka, Indiana, and three stepsons, Zachary (Angi) Brock of Bedford, Indiana, Jeramie Brock of Elkhart, Indiana, and Thomas Smith of Osceola, Indiana. Three grandsons also survive William, Bentley, Kameron, and Tysen Robertson, of Mishawaka.  Siblings Pam Penn Walker of Dale, Indiana, Wendy Penn Kunz of Oklahoma, and Cheryl Penn Good of Mishawaka, Indiana also survive along with many nieces and nephews.

     William was a dedicated hunter and fisherman. His greatest joy was watching his three grandsons play any sport that they were playing.

     A celebration of life will be held at a later date that will be announced.

     In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children’s research Hospital, in William’s name.
