William C Severeid Sr.

     William “Bill” C. Severeid Sr., aged 83, of South Bend, Indiana, passed away peacefully on February 25, 2025. Born on April 11, 1941, to Ward and Grace L. (Hall) Severeid, Bill grew to be a beloved figure in his hometown.

     Bill was a master carpenter, whose exceptional skill and craftsmanship allowed him to thrive as a self-employed professional. His legacy includes his devoted children, William C. (Rhonda) Severeid Jr. and Pamela Louise Severeid, his cherished grandchildren, and his adored great-grandchildren, whose lives are a testament to his love and guidance.

     Bill is survived by his sister, Janet Szabo; his brother, Thomas Severeid; and his sisters-in-law, Jeannine, and Shirley. He was preceded in death by his brothers, Donald, Robert and James Severeid. His life’s work and the joy he took in his labors will remain a source of inspiration to all who knew him. Bill will be deeply missed but fondly remembered for his kindness and indomitable spirit.

     A visitation will be held on Friday, February 28, 2025, from 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W 8th St. A cremation will take place afterwards.
